Course Structure & Curriculum
The Private Pilot License (PPL) program is divided into two phases. Your initial admission covers the Theory Phase. Upon arrival in the Czech Republic, you will transition into the Practical Flight Phase.
Phase 01
Theoretical Knowledge
This phase begins upon your arrival. It consists of intensive ground school classes where you will study the rules of flight, weather patterns, navigation, and aviation law.
Duration: 2 to 3 Months
Phase 02
Flight Training
Running parallel to or immediately after your theory, you will take to the skies with a certified flight instructor. You will complete a minimum of 45 flight hours, including cross-country and solo flights.
Duration: 3 to 6 Months
9 Theoretical Subjects Covered
Air Law
Rules of the air, airspace regulations, and legal responsibilities.
Human Performance
Understanding human limitations, physiology, and psychological factors.
Meteorology
Weather patterns, reading forecasts, and flight safety.
Communications
Radio telephony phrases, ATC procedures, and aviation English.
Principles of Flight
Aerodynamics, lift, drag, thrust, and the physics of flight.
Operational Procedures
Pre-flight checks, emergency protocols, and standard procedures.
Flight Performance
Weight and balance calculations, fuel planning, and route mapping.
Aircraft General Knowledge
Understanding aircraft engines, airframes, and mechanical systems.
Navigation
Visual and instrument navigation, maps, compasses, and avionics.
Examination Process

Theoretical Exams
9 multiple-choice exams. A minimum of 75% is required to pass each subject.

Oral Examination
A brief verbal test with an examiner to ensure practical understanding.

Practical Skill Test
The final "check-ride" with an authority examiner to earn your license.
Opportunities After PPL
While a PPL allows you to fly for leisure, it is the mandatory foundational step for a professional aviation career in Europe.
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Build on your PPL hours to qualify for paid flying jobs.
Instrument Rating (IR)
Learn to fly in poor weather using cockpit instruments.
Flight Instructor (FI)
Start earning immediately by teaching the next generation of PPL students.

Frequently Asked Questions
Specifically tailored for our Pakistani applicants.
Is this a Pakistani license or a European license?
This is a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) PPL license. It is issued by the Czech Civil Aviation Authority and is recognized globally, making it significantly more valuable than a local Pakistani PPL.
Can I work in the Czech Republic while studying?
On a standard student visa for aviation training, working legally outside of your studies is generally restricted. Your primary focus must remain on your flight training. We advise you to plan your finances accordingly.
The €12,000 in the bank—does it get frozen or deducted?
It is strictly "show money". The embassy just wants to see that you have the financial capacity to support your stay. The money is not deducted by the embassy and remains accessible to you.
Can my parents or a relative sponsor me for the €12,000 requirement?
Yes. A blood relative (parents, siblings, uncle/aunt) can sponsor you. They will need to provide their bank statement, a sponsorship affidavit, and proof of relationship.
Why is there no IELTS required for this program?
Because aviation communication follows a specific standard (ICAO English). The flight school will assess your English proficiency internally. If you can read, write, and speak basic English comfortably, you do not need external certificates like IELTS.
What if I fail one of the 9 theoretical exams?
The European system allows retakes. If you fail a subject, you can reappear for that specific exam after a short waiting period (usually 2 weeks) and some additional revision classes. You do not have to repeat the entire course.
